Finally, Lullaby has a release date! It was announced on the film’s official Twitter that we can see it next June 13th.
A few days ago, USA Today released a few images from the film, with a brief inside of it.
The cast is filled with great actors pulled together by Levitas, including Archer and Downton Abbey’s Findlay. Terrence Howard stars as a sympathetic hospital doctor, and Jennifer Hudson is a scene-stealing nurse.
Meanwhile, Amy Adams managed to make time in her schedule to play Jonathan’s ex-girlfriend.
“People were passionate about this story and believed in what we were saying,” Levitas says. “Amy showed up and did her thing.”
Waiting now for the trailer! You can also ‘like’ the official ‘Lullaby Facebook’ page.
Designer John Varvatos shut down Melrose Avenue on a sunny Sunday afternoon for his 11th annual event benefiting Stuart House, a program of the rape treatment center at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center that focuses on helping sexually abused children.
About 1,600-1,800 people were expected to attend the event, a charity concert and action held outside Varvatos’ boutique at 8800 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood (near Robertson Boulevard). Varvatos told The Hollywood Reporter that he was hoping to raise $1.3 million-$1.5 million from the family-friendly event (last year’s event brought in $830,000 for a total of more than $3.5 million up to that point).
Amy Adams and her actor-artist fiance, Darren Le Gallo, served as honorary co-chairs of the benefit. Adams told THR that she got involved with Stuart House about five years ago when she was asked to host a brunch there and witnessed firsthand the work of the organization, overseen by its founder and director, Gail Abarbanel.
“Seeing work they did and the impact that it had on the boys and girls, women and men, who are affected by this, it was pretty amazing,” she said. “Once I visited, I was kind of in for life.”
Added Le Gallo: “Having a [3-year-old] daughter, it’s even more close to home, but seeing how everything [at Stuart House] is contained, and it’s a really safe environment, and it makes the kids feel comfortable talking about something that is really hard to talk about, that’s huge. Hopefully every state will have one of these eventually.”
Adams — dressed in Tori Burch blazer and blouse along with Rag & Bone jeans — said she also appreciated the laid-back nature of Sunday’s event. “I’m wearing casual clothes on the red carpet,” laughed the Oscar-nominated American Hustle actress, who is fresh off the grueling duties of awards season.

After exploring dark psychodrama with Prisoners and the upcoming Enemy, director Denis Villeneuve has his eye on science fiction for a future project. He’s attached to adapt short tale Story Of Your Life and he may have found a star, with Amy Adams in early talks, Deadline is reporting.
If she does end up in the film, Adams will star as Dr. Louise Banks, an expert linguist called in by the US government to help when alien craft land on Earth and someone must learn to communicate with the occupants. As she explores their language and mindset, Dr. Banks figures out how to think as they do, developing the ability to “chrono-synclastically” perceive time from the outside. In a nutshell, she’s able to “remember” the future, which has implications, since she can see the ultimate fate of her currently unborn daughter, as well as knowing more about the new arrivals’ intentions.
Amy will be seen in Lullaby and Tim Burton’s latest, art drama Big Eyes, which doesn’t yet have a release date, but is predicted to enter the awards race this year. She’ll also be back as Lois Lane for Batman vs Superman that brings Ben Affleck’s Batman into Zack Snyder’s superhero universe.
Zack Snyder’s “Batman Vs. Superman” is certainly shaping with an intriguing cast, that had you told us this last year, we probably wouldn’t have believed you. Of course, Henry Cavill is back in the cape and Ben Affleck will wear the cowl, and they’ll be surrounded by a roster that includes Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane and Gal Gadot. And now three more are coming aboard.
The usually excellent Holly Hunter, rising Callan Mulvey (“300: Rise Of An Empire,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”) and Tao Okamoto (Mariko in “The Wolverine”) have all joined the sequel, and no, their characters have not been revealed. So we’ll let the internet speculate away on that.
But if you have your own theories, let us know in the comments section. “Batman Vs. Superman” arrives on May 6, 2016. [Variety]
