PAYING DUES Before her first break as a beauty pageant contestant in 1999′s Drop Dead Gorgeous, Adams was part of a dinner theater troupe in Minneapolis.
UP NEXT Adams will play Amelia Earhart in this May’s Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian before appearing with Meryl Streep in August’s culinary comedy Julie & Julia. —Adam Markovitz
