Short article about ‘Leap Year’
…and I mean short! A fun, cute little read.
Amy Adams might be flying high from playing Amelia Earhart in the Night at the Museum sequel, but her next role took her literally across the Atlantic.“It’s been amazing. … We’ve gone out to the west and seen beautiful landscapes,” Adams says. It was her first trip to Ireland, where she has been filming Leap Year with Matthew Goode. The film, directed by Anand Tucker, is due in early 2010.
Adams’ character, who plans to propose to her boyfriend on Leap Day, “is a very detail-oriented person who has her life planned out, and things sort of go off course with the help of a very handsome, roguish Irishman.”
Can Adams, who’s engaged to actor Darren Le Gallo, relate to being into details? “I can be that way about certain things … It’s easier to do it yourself.”

‘Night at the Museum’ clip screencaptures
Amy’s new movie Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian did very well at the box office over the holiday weekend!
Opening in 4,096 theatres (for a per theatre average of $17,090) Fox’s Museum (known internationally as Night at the Museum 2) grossed an estimated $53.5m between Friday and Sunday, easily beating the $30.4m three-day opening achieved in December 2006 by the original Night at the Museum.
In celebration, I have added screencaptures from a clip that was recently released. Enjoy!

Night at the Museum Reviews
Apparently, Amy is stealing hearts yet again! :) Review are in for Night at the Museum, and it’s looking good!
Despite striking fear in the hearts of all those who love comedies – that is, funny ones – Shawn Levy, the director of NATM2, as well as those Pink Panther remakes, defied critics and naysayers alike by delivering a sequel that not only got better reviews than the first but posting the biggest grosses ever for a Ben Stiller opening.
Script was apparently much funnier this time, Amy Adams stole hearts with her acclaimed performance as Amelia Earheart, and special effects got a particular mention for actually being special.
To read the full article, click here! Also, it appears that NATM2 has beat the Terminator movie, earning a huge amount of over 53 million in the box office! Wow!
On a similar note, I saw the movie myself. If you haven’t seen it yet, then go! Amy was brilliant in it, I think she stole the show pretty much. :)

Amy ranked as one of Glamour’s most glamorous
Seems like every magazine these days has some sort of top 50 or 100 list. Glamour is no exception. They’ve released their annual list of the 50 Most Glamorous and our girl Amy hit the chart at #31. You can view the complete list after the cut.
Veronica Lake waves, elegant gowns and wowza jewels are all part of her throwback red-carpet look. “She does the old-school Hollywood glamour thing so well,” says Joannides.
