Big candids update

Categories: Gallery Updates

Before the huge rush of events that I know will be coming up in the next couple weeks as Amy promotes Leap Year, I wanted to get the gallery caught up. So tonight I’ve added a large batch of candid photos from November and December – including some great baby bump shots. We’ve decided to continue posting candids following the same guidelines we did before: they can’t be obviously intrusive (i.e. the photographer hiding in a tree) and nothing will be posted if Amy looks like she doesn’t wish to have her photo taken. Once the baby is born, I think we’ll look at the candid policy again. And of course, if Amy ever publicly states that she doesn’t like the paparazzi or that they’re harassing her and her family, we will cease to post them immediately.

Amy will be starting the press tour for Leap Year here soon. We already know of a few tv show stops she will be making. Here’s what we know so far.

  • January 5 – The Late Show with David Letterman
  • January 7 – Live with Regis & Kelly
  • January 7 – Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

We plan to have HD screencaps and clips of all these as soon as possible after they air. If you happen to find any other appearances that we don’t know of yet please let us know.

On behalf of the staff of Enchanting Amy, I want to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and happy holidays!  I will be spending time with friends and family over the next several days so updates from me are unlikely.  I am very excited for 2010 though.  There’s a lot going on in Amy’s life and career and we here at Enchanting will be here to bring you the latest coverage.  Be sure to keep checking in as Becca and I will be posting a year in review section very soon.

Amy news is really slow right now so I wanted to take a moment to remind our loyal visitors about some of the fun things you can find at Enchanting:

  • Enchanting Media – currently home to almost 80 video clips featuring our girl.  Don’t forget that you can register to join and upload your own creations and finds as well.
  • Enchanting on Twitter – we’ve joined the Twitter bandwagon and you can find us at @EnchantingAmy.

If you have any ideas on how Becca and I can improve the site, don’t hesitate to contact us.  Also, we are still looking for a few Amy rarities in our quest to complete the gallery.  Any donation is much appreciated.

Movieweb has some great videos from Amy’s upcoming movie Leap Year including the trailer, clips, behind the scenes footage and a nice long interview with Amy on the set.  You can view the interview after the cut and the rest you can find on Movieweb. We’ll hopefully be adding these to our media archive soon.

‘Sunshine Cleaning’ the series?

In his review for Sunshine Cleaning, critic Robert Wilonsky said he thought the indie film had “the markings of a great Showtime series.”Wilonsky probably had no idea execs at Showtime were thinking the same thing. The pay cabler is, indeed, in the early stages of adapting Sunshine Cleaning into a TV series.

The cable net is developing the project inhouse and has tapped Megan Holley, who wrote the screenplay to Sunshine Cleaning, to rework it for the smallscreen.

It’s highly doubtful that they would be able to get the same cast to star in the series version.  But still, I’m intrigued.  What about you guys?  Would you watch the series even if Amy isn’t in it?

Question for our visitors

As you know, Enchanting Amy does post the occasional candid photo of our girl.  We try to be as respectful as possible and only post photos of her on the set or where it appears she doesn’t mind the paparazzi taking her photo.  Candid photos can be an invasion of privacy and we never want to post anything that would cross that line.  That being said, Amy’s pregnancy will likely cause the paps to hound her more.  Since I am torn on posting candid photos of the baby bump, I’m curious to know what the visitors think.  Please post your thoughts and concerns as a comment to this message.  Thank you.
