Do we have any idea what it’s going to be rated? PG-13? R? Though I doubt it’ll be kid friendly, I recall several “f” word’s being used as I watched some making of the film clips. Just thought I would ask.

I would be very surprised if it got anything lower than an “R” rating. And since it’s not a story likely to appeal to the younger crowd anyway, I don’t see why they would bother trying to clean it up in order to get a PG or PG-13.

You always seem like very sceptic about Amy in some of your post. You think she will not be in the trailer for the fighter just because it’s all about boxing. Remember Amy has made a name for herself and people want to see her obviously in the trailer. Her being in the film is vital She turns every movie she in into gold!

You were also sceptic about the Joplin movie just because it has failed to materialized in the past. Remember, none of those mention actresses that were mention to play it before would fit the part. A star is born to do it and Amy, she will rock you!!

@Miss C Sorry if I seem skeptical to you. I do think that they will show Amy in the trailer for ‘The Fighter’, I only said that they probably wouldn’t feature her much. The movie is about Mickey Ward and Dickie Eckland and Amy was cast as a supporting role. It’s only natural that the trailer would focus on the boxing and the two main characters.

As for the Janis movie, I do have my doubts that it will get made. I’m in my 30′s and there’s been talk about a Janis movie in one form or another since I can remember. All of those projects have failed to happen and so it wouldn’t surprise me at all if this one didn’t happen either. Do all those failed attempts mean that this one won’t come to be? Absolutely not. I am truly excited for it and I really, really hope that they are able to get this film made.
