Found a short article about Amy this morning. Love the quote about looking like a girl who couldn’t punch.

Amy Adams is most famous for playing wide-eyed innocents whose sunny outlook enriches the lives of those around her. Just think of toothy Brenda in Catch Me If You Can, heavily pregnant Ashley in Junebug and, of course, Giselle the misplaced princess in 2007′s modern twist on a Disney fairytale, Enchanted. In fact, when Adams announced in December that she was pregnant by fiancé Darren Le Gallo, commentators expressed surprise that someone so “wholesome and pure” had ever actually had sex. Hearing this, Adams looks taken aback for a second. “I’m not sure how I feel about that,” she laughs awkwardly, looking perplexed as she leans back in her chair in the luxury of the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles. “Am I asexual? I don’t present myself to the world like: everyone has to see my bits. But I wouldn’t call myself prudish by any means.” The thing is, in this age of Megan Fox-style sexuality-as-a-weapon, Adams’s attitude is actually quite rare, and that’s what makes her attractive to men and relatable to women. “There are a lot of women out there like me,” she nods. “I think it’s something that’s more fun to discover than to put out there.” |

With a baby on the way, ‘Leap Year’ actress Amy Adams says she is doing “pretty good.” “I’m surprised how tired I get. I’ve learned that when you get tired, you need to lie down and have a cookie,” she tells PopEater. And when she’s resting, she can’t help but watch ‘Law and Order: SVU’ marathons. “Even if you know you’ve seen the episode before, you know at some point Chris Meloni is going to take his shirt off and that’s always good,” Adams adds. |

The last place Amy Adams expected to run into the paparazzi was Target. The aggressive photographers usually stalk celebrities outside trendy shops on Melrose Avenue and Rodeo Drive. So, imagine the redhead’s surprise when a paparazzo poked his head through a rack of children’s clothes at a Los Angeles-area Target, and snapped a few candid shots of the actress as she shopped at what she describes as her “favorite store.” Such is the life of one of Hollywood’s hottest actresses, whose new romantic comedy “Leap Year” opens Friday. |
