I’ve been meaning to add these to the site for a couple months now but I lost track of the files when I got my new laptop and computer. I was able to get Doubt in high definition and I’ve replaced our old DVD screencaptures with gorgeous HD versions. Enjoy!

One again, I’ve been adding a few pics here and there to the gallery. Additions from the last couple days include two behind the scenes photos (including one super rare) from Junebug and some new images added to a couple photoshoots. Today I’ve added a photo from another Junebug press conference, a couple photos from the Paris press junket for Doubt, and a site exclusive! Back in December 2008, Amy and John Patrick Shanley took part in a panel dicussion about the film Doubt at The Apple Store in Soho. Photos from this are extremely difficult to find but I managed to find and add a small selection for us Amy fans. Enjoy!

Hey everyone! Just a reminder that one of Amy’s latest projects, Doubt is now on dvd. Make sure to pick up your copy, Amy is amazing in the film, like always. Anyways, we have a new dvd review for Doubt. To read, click now!

Also, a little heads up, but I will be adding more screencaptures for various of Amy’s past films in the next couple of days, so make sure you keep an eye out for that!

According to Home Media Magazine, Amy’s movie Doubt will be released on region 1 DVD and BluRay on April 7th.

The Doubt DVD and Blu-ray Disc both house the special features “From Stage to Screen,” in which Shanley discusses the history of Doubt, his inspirations for the story, and adapting his acclaimed play, with participation from Streep and Sister Margaret McEntee (Shanley’s former teacher, who served as a consultant on the film and who was formerly known as Sister James, the name of Amy Adams’ character in the film and play). The discs also include special features on composer Howard Shore’s musical score, interviews with Shanley and Streep on talking to real nuns in order to portray their lives accurately in the film, more cast interviews and a commentary with Shanley, for which he said they “put him in a booth and [he] just freely associated for the length of the film.”

Doubt has yet to be released on DVD but I did manage to find a file to make screencaptures from.  This makes  Enchanting Amy the first Amy site to bring you screencaptures of Amy’s incredible performance.

… and Amy has received one for her role in Doubt!  Doubt received five nominations total including best actress (Meryl Streep), best actor (Philip Seymour Hoffman), and best adapted screenplay (John Patrick Shanley).

I’ll admit it – I didn’t like this look at first.  But while I was seraching out photos, it started to grow on me.  While it’s not my favorite look for Amy so far this year, it is striking… and I really like the hair.
