Film : [2009] Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian : DVD Screencaptures – Featurette: Primate Prima Donnas

Both of Amy’s latest movie projects have finally been given DVD release dates :) Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian will be released on December 1, 2009. And Julie & Julia will be released the following week on December 8, 2009
Both are available for pre-order on Amazon.

I’ve replaced the screencaptures we had of Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian with high definition BluRay quality ones.  The DVD doesn’t come out for a few more weeks but I will be sure to post screencaps of the special features once it does.

Since Julie & Julia will be in theaters on August 7th and promotions for that will be starting any time now, I figured I better finish adding everything I have for Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.  Added tonight are a few more photos from the news conference held on May 15th plus screencaptures of an Access Hollywood interview with Amy and Hank Azaria from the same day.

Amy’s movie Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian is still in theaters but we’ve managed to make and add over 600 screencaptures.  Like the ones from Sunshine Cleaning added yesterday, these are not the best quality.  But I hope you enjoy them until we can replace them with DVD quality versions later in the year.

The nominee list for the 11th annual Teen Choice Awards has been released and not only was Amy’s movie Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian nominated for Choice Movie: Comedy, Amy herself was nominated for her portrayal of Amelia Earhart in the same movie.  You can view the full list of nominees here.  Congrats Amy!

Amy’s new movie Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian did very well at the box office over the holiday weekend!

Opening in 4,096 theatres (for a per theatre average of $17,090) Fox’s Museum (known internationally as Night at the Museum 2) grossed an estimated $53.5m between Friday and Sunday, easily beating the $30.4m three-day opening achieved in December 2006 by the original Night at the Museum.

In celebration, I have added screencaptures from a clip that was recently released.  Enjoy!
