Just a few days before the nominations announcement on the 25th, a gorgeous set of portraits featuring some of this year’s Oscar hopefuls has been released. The photo of Amy is simply beautiful!

Forget the sugary-sweet princess of Enchanted: As barmaid Charlene in The Fighter, Adams is more tough than tender, teaching her sweetheart Micky Ward how to stand up to his family and take control of his life in a decidedly hands-on manner (the highlight: when she beats up one of Micky’s mouthier sisters). Micky may be the one in the ring, but she’s the real warrior. (For Your Consideration: Best Supporting Actress)

Now that the holidays are over and there’s a break in the award season schedule, Amy is back at work filming her latest movie The Muppets. They were filming late last night in Los Angeles and some photos from the set have been added to the gallery.

Photo coverage of Amy at the Golden Globes tonight seems like it was pretty light. I’m having a hard time finding photos. I added what I’ve found so far – including the first few HQ images and Amy arriving for the InStyle after party. Also added are HD screencaptures from the red carpet that are courtesy my good friend Brianne (who is amazing). She also sent in a clip of Amy being interviewed on the red carpet and that has been added to our media archive.

My previous post was incorrect when I said that Amy’s Marchesa gown was a deep blue. It is, in fact, a dark teal color. I have yet to find out any information about her shoes but I do know that all her jewels were from Cartier and a make-up guide was posted on the LA Times blog:

To achieve this look, her makeup artist Molly Stern went with the “painterly feel” of her dress, starting with YSL Perfect Touch Radiant Brush foundation and Giorgio Armani sheet blush in #2.

Lancome’s Taupe Craze eye shadow (out in February) was swept across her eyelids for a natural finish, as was Le Stylo Waterproof eyeliner in Minuit.

To get her perfectly pink pout, Lancome’s Color Design Matte Lip Color in Stylista and Le A’bsolu Nu in Evening Lace (out in March) were applied to her lips.

Amy arrived to the red carpet for the 68th Annual Golden Globes a little later than most but she made up for it by looking utterly gorgeous in a deep blue Marchesa gown. The first photos have just begun to surface and be sure to keep checking back as I’ll be adding more over the next few hours along with keeping you all up to date with the winners and losers.

Amy was a busy girl today! After the Critics’ Choice Awards were over, she headed to the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles for W Magazine’s party to celebrate their “Best Performances Issue” and Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards. Amy wore the same blue and green fitted brocade dress and black peep toes that she wore to the CCAs. I’m still trying to track down the designer information and will post it as soon as I find out anything.
