Site

I’ve been a fan of Amy’s since 1999 when I saw her in Drop Dead Gorgeous.  I followed her career as best as I could and was of course thrilled when she received her first Academy Award nomination for her performance in Junebug.

Over the years, I’ve thought about opening up my own site dedicated to Amy many times but I never did it.  I was always either too busy or was in the middle of opening a site dedicated to someone else.  Finally, in late 2008, I went ahead and applied for a domain via the best fansite host ever and was accepted.

Knowing that there were already three fantastic Amy fansites out there already, I was a little intimidated.  What could I offer that these sites didn’t already have?  They’re established, have large gallerys, and in the case of Amy Adams Fan – phenomenal content.  Then it hit me…  I hate, and I mean hate, fansite tags on photos.  As a photo collector, I think they ruin a photo – no matter how small and unobtrusive they are.  And there are many fansites out there have gone way overboard with them (tagging across the middle, huge tags that take up a good portion of the photo, etc.).

So that’s what Enchanting Amy offers Amy Adams fans out there – a gallery filled with untagged images.  I will not put a fansite tag on any photos that I post.  With very few exceptions, you will not find any agency tags on photos either.  Most of the exceptions will be found in the photoshoot area of the gallery.  If I’ve used photos from another site, the tag will remain and proper credit will be given.  I hope that people respect the hard work I’ve put into making this site and give credit where credit is due if they decide to use something from here.
